Remarks

Requests for Battle.net to reset an account's password. This message must be sent before logging in.

This message requires an email address because Battle.net has to prove it's your account. Since this message must be sent before C>S 0x29 SID_LOGONRESPONSE, C>S 0x3A SID_LOGONRESPONSE2, or C>S 0x53 SID_AUTH_ACCOUNTLOGON, you must supply an e-mail address so Battle.net knows that you may have ownership to it.

This message used to be named SID_AUTH_RECONNECTPROOF, however Blizzard never had it implemented, and so reused the message ID for their email system.
